The Dr. Lorraine Stephenson Scholarship aims to boost college attendance among youths in the community that may otherwise lack the financial resources. Financial constraints are a common barrier to access for many young people. Additionally, colleges often determine scholarships and admissions based on academic skills, community service involvement, religious affiliation, athletic skills, and natural talents such as playing instruments, singing, and dancing.

Scholarship Opportunities
there are two scholarship opportunities available through the Dr. Lorraine Stephenson scholarship program.
These include high school scholarships, college-bound scholarships.
High school students must submit a 250-word essay that describes their educational goal and community participation.

Donation Motivations
Dr. Lorraine Stephenson humbly requests assistance from donors in the region. Donations made to the Non-Profit foundation can increase the number of scholarships that are awarded to youths in need throughout the New Jersey communities.
The foundation aims to provide scholarships on an annual basis. Donors will have the opportunity to assist high school and college-bound youth break past financial barriers that can prevent them from obtaining the career goals they dream about and deserve.
